wow, it’s been 2-3 weeks ago since i last posted here on...

wow, it’s been 2-3 weeks ago since i last posted here on tumblr (well, not coming from instagram because sometimes, i also connect instagram here)

past couple of weeks were crazy! we were so busy finishing our thesis paper and the presentation! i don’t remember touching my laptop not for thesis! my saturdays were spent meeting with my groupmates. so i only had saturday nights and sundays free, ans as much as possible i tried spending them wisely while it’s summer! because for sure come regular school days, i’m back to lola mode! haha. i even had my hair cut because of stress! lol. (but i also had to cut dry ends… can’t stand dry ends!!!) last monday, we had our thesis defense. it was nerve wrecking. but hardwork paid off! got kilig with how the panelists reacted, good job guys! and i have to say, i have the best groupmates!!! all our sleepovers turned to slumber parties because of too much food. we even had practice defense where we ask each other questions that panelists might ask but fortunately, they didn’t! haha. paranoia! but at least prepared! they were so hardworking, that even if we only had 2hrs sleep they would still go to school to work in the clinics! salute! :)

so after thesis defense, it’s time to work our asses in the clinics…full force! They extended clinic hours this week until 7.30pm. it’s actually, good because we have longer hours to work and we can schedule more patients. more points for us! :D last 3 days of clinics then another 2 week vacation before we enter another semester. graduating year, you’re just starting but you’re already challenging! i pray for mind, skill, and strength! :D

my barkada’s planning a subic trip next week! so happy! beach before school starts! i love you friends! yayyyy! so bye for now, see you soon tumblr!

la union april 15-17 2012 (late post)

one of the trips that actually already completed my summer 2012 :) i think it was 5 years ago since i last went to san juan to surf… imagine my excitement when i we were on our way!

thank you jayson’s family for letting us stay in your wonderful abode! felt like we were just in manila :) we went to a lot of places in just 2 days and most of the time commuting, great adventure! tiring but really fun!

1st day

we arrived around 6am at san fernando, so the sleeping beauty me wanted to sleep more. as if i didn’t during our bus ride going there. haha. (hello epic bus ride btw!haha)
breakfast then SLEEP again! haha
went to checkout thunderbird’s resort at poro point. two thumb’s up! gandaaa!
had lunch at ma-cho temple and tried some chinese traditions like the incense candle and made a wish!
road trip to a resort named….JIREH’S! akala ko, gerry’s! yun pala jireh talaga :| hahaha
kultura resort to beat the heat and swim!
i got surprised that they have this banchetto type food strip at night, yayy to ilocos empanada and cotton candy with powder!

2nd day:

breakfast at jays’
lunch at taipan resto, lemon chicken!!!
visited jayson’s highschool and watched him to the thing he’s really good at (aside from cheerdancing ;) ) ARCHERY! i wanna learn too but the bow is just to heavy for my arm! baka ako ang madala at maging arrow! :| weh. hahaha
theeen, san juan!!! keena and i learned how to surf! well it was my 2nd or 3rd time and it was keena’s first! :) since it’s summer, waves weren’t that big but good enough for amateurs like us. we gonna be pro someday! haha
soaked under the sun and took pictures, drinking beers while we wait for the sun to set
we continued the drinking session when we got home

3rd day

time to go back to manila! :(
visited ma-cho temple again
had lunch at halo-halo de iloko, their halo-halo is really a must try! ;)
bought ilocos empanada
another epic bus ride going home! haha. don’t want to give out details but really, it was epic! hahaha
hello manila, 9pm

and we all had to go to school the next day cos it’s the start of summer clinics, for me and carl… and summer classes for jays and keena :) I MISS YOU GUYS! we need to go out again soon! :D planinng to go back this october for better waves and more surfing lessons!
